Valiant Tank

December 25th, 2008 Leave a comment Go to comments

My first tank with new treads and Power Functions elements. Features pendular suspension, rotated turred and illuminated barrel.

Datasheet:

Completion date: 28/10/2007
Power: electric (Power Functions)
Dimensions: length 31 studs / width 24 studs / height 17 studs
Weight:  0.99 kg
Suspension: pendular bogies
Motors: 2 x PF XL, 1 x PF Medium

First use of the Power Functions elements and the new treads system. The tank (no relation to the British Valiant tank at all) is small and very simple, without even the possibility to elevate the barrel. Each tread is driven by a single PF XL motor and has a simple pendular suspension. PF Medium motor in the hull rotated the turret. Upon pressing the hatch on the top of the turret, the barrel is illuminated by the LED brick from the Exo-Force sets. It was my first and only tank with the battery box outside the hull.

would be nice to have such tanks going arround and hunting for each other (via IR cannons)

Cool, think you could make instructions NOT FOR THIS but for a basic tank?
