@del I didn't use no-friction pins. If instruction tells otherwise, there's a mistake in it.

Hi Paul

A very quick question for you. I am just about to start work on an RC platform based on your Landrover chassis. The instructions indicate that there’s a need for 107 x 3673 black Technic pins (non-friction type) but these appear to be pretty thin on the ground i.e. difficult to source. Is there a particular reason why you used the non-friction type? Could we substitute friction pins (2780) instead? I’m thinking this ought to be OK since the core of the chassis build is clearly intended to be pretty rigid. Did you use the 3673 pins simply because these were what you had to hand?

Hi Mr Pual,
I am your fan in shanghai china, and I like your work so much specially is Scania R500 truck, and can’t help to write a mail to you.
For just few photos you have published in your website, and I can not get a clear idea of the how the detail instruction of the chassis. I just want to bulit race truck chassis and add the cabin of set 8041 to it. And hope you can help me a little.
Could you send me more detail photos of building the chassis, so I can do it accordingly.
Now I have started to collect the part including the buggy motors and bricks according to you photos.
